The New Yorkers

The New Yorkers perform The Great American Songbook. Tom McGuire (vocalist) and Mathieu De Wit (music director and piano) entertain along with top jazz musicians: Lieven Venken (drums) and Ramon Van Merkenstein (bass).

They curate a variety of jazz themes. For example, “Golden Age of Crooners” features standards by Tony Bennett, Nat King Cole, Frank Sinatra, and others.

“Great New York Songbook” celebrates that city’s jazz influence. Iconic composers from the Big Apple such as Cole Porter, George Gershwin, and Irving Berlin. Their golden melodies are timeless.

The New Yorkers also curate great jazz standards from Tin Pan Alley, the street in Manhattan which 100 years ago was the center of the music industry. Where composers wrote jazz tunes for vaudeville, musical theater, and Hollywood.

What is more, the band’s passion radiates further in two of their most popular tributes: The Best of Frank Sinatra. Top Hits of Louis Armstrong.
